How do I order?

Once you are happy that the quote is satisfactory, a 50% deposit payment is required to start the order process. You can pay by bank direct credit on line, by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Qcard), Eftpos (at our showroom), cheque or cash. (Note: If Boston Wardrobes is not doing the installation, we require the final payment to be made prior to the goods leaving our warehouse.)

How do I pay directly on line?

Boston Wardrobes uses ASB account number 12-3209-0153028-00. (Please include your surname and quote reference number.)

How do I pay by credit card?

Just call us on 09-377 5799 with your quote reference number and we will take your deposit over the phone. We acccept Visa, Mastercard & Qcard.

Will I receive notification of my deposit payment?

Absolutely, we will email you a receipt for your deposit along with information on what will happen next and what you need to think about in preparation for our installation.

When will the final payment be due?

The final balance owing is due as soon as the installation of your order has been completed. (Note: If Boston Wardrobes is not doing the installation, we require the final payment to be made prior to the goods leaving our warehouse.)

What if I’m not satisfied with my purchase after it has been installed?

It is important that you fully understand what our customer consultant has quoted you for before you confirm your order. There are a lot of details involved in the manufacture and installation of a custom designed wardrobe. Boston Wardrobes has built its reputation on customer service, so if you are dissatisfied with any part of the product or process, please advise your customer consultant immediately.

Do your products come with a guarantee?

Almost all of our products have a 10 year parts and labour guarantee (Note: Glass is only supported by a 2 year guarantee from the manufacturer).

Please note that this guarantee only applies if an authorised Boston Wardrobes installer has installed the product. Boston Wardrobes has been supplying wardrobe products since 1987 and we know that our products, if used correctly, have a life expectancy far beyond the 10 year mark. We carry parts for our products, and provide a repair and maintenance service in the Auckland area.

Can I do my own installation?

Most of our products, due to the nature of custom design and manufacture, require specialised tools and skills to produce a satisfactory installation result. We are proud of the quality of our wardrobes and doors, and wish to see the best possible finish for an installed wardrobe. Please be advised that no product guarantee will apply to installations not done by a Boston Wardrobes authorised installer.

Do you have any DIY products?

Yes, the Simplfit and Innova ranges, can be relatively easily installed with the use of a cordless drill/screwdriver and spirit level. Additionally, if you require a wardrobe quickly, the Simplfit product can be supplied within a very short time frame (based on using the standard Simplfit design ranges).

Can I buy Boston Wardrobes if I live outside Auckland?

We directly service the Auckland region from Pukekohe to Orewa for all product ranges. If you live further afield please contact us to discuss your requirements.

How long after I order will I have to wait for installation?

From the date of receipt of your deposit payment, the process typically takes between 2 to 3 weeks, depending on availability of the particular product and availability of installers. If you have a specific installation date requirement, please discuss this with your customer consultant at the time you place your order.

How much notice of my installation will you give me?

Our customer service team will normally contact you a minimum of 48 hours prior to confirm the installation date and time with you. If you have a specific installation date requirement, please discuss this with your customer consultant at the time you place your order.

Do I need to be home when you do the installation?

It is not a requirement, though it can be helpful if the installer has any questions he may need to clarify with you.

Will the installer remove old doors or shelves from the wardrobe prior to installing the new wardrobe?

Our installation charges are based on the installation of a new wardrobe, and do not include the dismantling of existing doors or shelving, nor the disposal of old doors or shelving. If you have a need for any of this type of work to be done, please discuss this with our customer consultant prior to placing the order.
